Hola hola! Born in Humacao, Puerto Rico and raised in New Britain/Hartford Connecticut, I am a book worm and content creator. I focus on Latinx authored stories that highlight the Latinx experience to help others in my community read more Latinx books. 

My journey as a Book Content Creator (@bykishamarie) began after I became tired of seeing the same five books recommended on social media, or hearing that the Latinx community does not read or write books. Since then it has become my goal to highlight and recommend Latinx and BIPOC authors and stories. 

On my page you will find stories of me gushing over my favorite characters, quotes that will stick with you forever and doing in depth analysis of fictional characters and scenes in books that many of us can relate to. My page has a mix of deep intentional analysis and real in the moment reactions of the stories I'm currently reading. 

As my page and community has grown I've tapped into lifestyle content focusing on self care and my experience as Boricua in Connecticut by attending events, and supporting Latinx businesses. My content is genuine, honest and captures the real moment of my experiences.
