Bio

203local is a digital platform and marketing initiative, created in March 2018, that champions local small businesses, events, and culture across Fairfield and New Haven Counties in Connecticut. By curating content through the #203local hashtag, it connects residents with local restaurants, shops, and community events, offering social media management and promotional services to boost local engagement. 

  • Focus Area: Primarily Fairfield and New Haven counties, showcasing local businesses, makers, and events.
  • Purpose: To help the community discover local spots while helping those businesses gain traction on social media.
  • Services: Provides social media, influencer coordination, and content creation services to businesses.
  • Content: Features updates on new restaurant openings, holiday, and event guides.
  • Team: Uses a team of content creators and interns to cover events and create blog/social media posts. 

203local reaches over 250K accounts per month on it's main IG account and operates 75+ accounts in addition. If you search for "bestofwhatsaround" you can see all accounts under the 203local umbrella. Businesses and events are permitted to collab with their town accounts or accounts that might make sense for their business (203datenight, 203pizzas, 203kids, etc) at no charge. All content on 203local is content planned out with a calendar and requires advance planning & coordination to reserve specific dates.
